Canada Announces US$582 Million-Equivalent Research Investment

On 23 October, the Government of Canada announced more than C$813 million (approximately US$580 million) for over 450 researchers, research infrastructure and institutional research costs, including grants of up to C$24 million for individual six-year interdisciplinary projects. Universities, research centres and consulting providers can explore research-computing, digital learning and data-analysis opportunities; HPC can supply computing infrastructure and technical support, with quotations based on confirmed project requirements.
