Mining Services Contracts Signal Demand for Workforce Planning

On 22 October, Thiess announced two five-year mining-services contracts in Mongolia covering underground services at Oyu Tolgoi and asset-management services at Ukhaa Khudag. The company said more than 110 additional roles were expected in the coming months, but did not disclose contract values; employers and HR providers can explore recruitment analytics, skills planning and workforce reporting, while HPC can support data-driven workforce planning through a tailored quotation.
