Slovakia Considers EU Funding for an Oil-Pipeline Link With Austria

On 22 October, Slovakia’s economy minister said the country was considering linking its oil-pipeline network with Austria’s Schwechat refinery, alongside potential oil-storage facilities in western Slovakia and reverse-flow options involving the Czech Republic. The government is seeking a possible EU funding route, but no confirmed project budget was disclosed.
